The game doesn't offer anything outstanding, the game is similar and more basic in terms of gameplay and variety than other non free-to-play kart game like Mario Kart, Sonic&Sega All-Stars Racing, Crash Team Racing. The good thing about this game is the possiblity to play with either bots or other players and from almost every platform and the negatives are pretty obvious. The in-game currency are earned as you play the game, that currency can be used to buy in-game items and to upgrade your kart to make your kart faster and more stable, but apart from that there isn't a complex upgrade system, the game just gives you several upgrade points to boost the stats. The overall look and tracks are fantastic and the game doesn't force you into microtransactions as the kart itself and its driver are just for appearance. Sadly there is no support for physical controllers, so everyone's going to have to use the touch controls, which at the very least allow for an even playfield when jumping online.The game can be played against bots or other players from any other platform available.
Of course, a kart racer like this succeeds or fails on whether or not it has competent controls, and since Mario Kart Tour was panned at launch for its awkward swipe-based inputs, it's nice to see that KartRider Rush+ offers your typical left and right directional controls (with a separate drift button), which allows for more precision than swiping haphazardly on the screen. For the most part, the gameplay hinges on whether or not you can complete drifts around each corner in order to earn extra boost, which will help to ensure your place at the lead of the pack. As you can see, the game brings a plethora of familiar modes, such as Speed Races, a Story Mode, a Ranked Mode, and an Arcade Mode that offers several race-types of its own.
